Wedding Magnets Add Fun and Personality to the Big Day

By Veronica Plesky

Brides need to attend to every part of the day, from the dress to decor, to reception and music, and even the stationary! Most individuals don't forget to order their invitations, place cards , or other important pieces of stationary, but not all brides and grooms recall to send a "save the date" reminder.

Commonly this bit is sent 6 to 12 months before the wedding, and it can take many shapes, from cards to emails to wedding save the date magnets.

These " save the date" pieces can have various important roles. Formost it was designed for your ' out of town guests ' so they could get advanced notice for their travel plans. Things that immediately come to mind are time off from work, baby sitters if required and let's not leave out that flight and hotel reservations are usually cheaper far in advance

Finding great rates for hotels and airlines is virtually out if the out of town guests would wait for the " regular " invitations ( normally 6-8 weeks before the event). It simply can be seen as a matter of courtesy to send these wedding save the date magnets. Most of us lead fairly busy lives, so having advanced notice for blocking out certain days to be able to attend the wedding will be valued.

Save the date pieces come in numerous shapes and forms. Cards that match the invitations are popular, but they commonly end up stuck in a drawer somewhere. Some couples use email, but delivery and receipt is less than reliable, and not everyone even uses email these days (think of grandparents and great grandparents).

Wedding save the date magnets are a great, fun way to announce the day. They ordinarily get hung on the icebox and assist as a continual reminder of the special day. Save date photo magnets are greatest when kept simple; usually a picture, the date, and the town are sufficient to include. When mailed early enough, these wedding magnets make a great presentation to a fun wedding! - 29958
